MM6 MAISON MARGIELA RESORT 2027
MM6 Maison Margiela’s Resort 2027 collection revisits the house’s signature approach to deconstruction, reworking the foundations of summer dressing through cut-outs, geometric pattern cutting, raw finishes, and reconstructed tailoring. A-line silhouettes, classic menswear fabrics, lightweight cottons, and utilitarian canvas form the basis of the collection, while archival circular constructions appear across sweater dresses, gilets, and shirting. Throughout the collection, garments are designed to evolve through styling and alteration, with sleeves transformed into draped accessories and metallic zip hardware introducing graphic interruptions across tailoring and dresses. Familiar MM6 motifs return in subtle ways, from multiplied pocket details to fragmented denim constructions and repurposed waistbands. Accessories continue this spirit of reinvention, with updated versions of the Bauletto and Japanese bags, alongside footwear ranging from sheer pumps and ballerinas to reworked Anatomic heels and new collaborations with Salomon. The result is a collection that reinforces MM6’s enduring fascination with transformation and the possibilities that emerge once a garment leaves the cutting table.
